Hello!

So unfortunately some of you have been unable to access the game after receiving the e-mail and downloading the app. This was caused by the permissions not auto-populating to your accounts when you were invited to join the mobile Friends and Family program. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Now for the important part, you will be able to get access to the game but it is a bit of hoop jumping for both us and you.

Here is what will be happening and how you can get access to the mobile version if you have been accepted and currently don't have access:​

  1. Players will need to have filled out the application for the web CBT found at http://wotgenerals.com/. (This needs to be done in order for you to get access to the mobile version)
  2. Wargaming will go through all of the currently accepted applicants and manually add them to the closed beta test for the browser version. This will allow the players the correct permissions to access both the web and mobile versions of the game.
  3. To give the players some time to fill out the application so Wargaming can grant access to the majority of users at once, Wargaming will be manually adding the players by Friday, March 13th

at 12:00 (PDT) / 3:00 (EDT).

If you did not fill out an application by March 13th, please follow the steps listed below.

  1. You must have already applied for the mobile Friends and Family program
  2. Be sure you have been accepted into the mobile Friends and Family. You should have the app installed.
  3. Be sure to have filled out an application at http://wotgenerals.com/. (This needs to be done in order for you to get access to the mobile version)
  4. Once that is complete and filled out please PM CC_Sly or Alo8ight stating you have been accepted into the mobile Friends and Family and need access. Please include a screenshot of the log in screen as well.
  5. We will reply to the PM once you have been activated. You will have access to both the web closed beta and the mobile Friends and Family program.

hi,

so if i have access from the closed Friend and family that was tested on the website, and i have access to the closed beta now from the website does that mean i have access to the mobile version

(i also filled out the beta form because it was said that Friends and family testers did not have automatic access to the beta but i got access because i got alpha status)

does this even make sense?

The browser closed beta testers do not automatically gain access to the mobile version. They must have applied and been accepted to the Friends and Family for the mobile version in order to access it.

Ok. I submitted an application for the beta... So now I just sit tight and wait? Or is there any more I can do?

I was accepted to the closed beta and did what it says goto the website and hit play but says the page is not found. Is there an issue on WG's side or something I gotta do?

I have been accepted for the CBT and have played on my pc. I would love to try on my mobile device. Is there an app in the Google apps store?

So I got the email saying I was accepted for WoT generals F&F but when I go to log into the app it says I need a bonus code? I'm not sure if I somehow missed another email because the only one I got was from the iTunes store. Or maybe it's a bug. In any case any information would be appreciated since it's my first time beta testing for mobile.
