I had a similar thought, of some beta-based missions that would actually encourage us to continue playing (as many of us can tell, those that get to about 200 or more battles have slowed down significantly in our amount of playtime, generally at least); they'd have to be really long missions mind you, like "Unlock a tier 10 card" or "Play 500 battles", things along those lines. As it stands, getting to a Tier 7 HQ is pointless and a waste of time - even for our testing purposes - because it will take us far too long to grind there on our own, and, should we actually stick it out and make it that far, there will be next to no one else to actually play those decks with, if anyone at all. Now, what the rewards for completing said missions would be, I can't say, but I was thinking just small things as a starting bonus for when the game goes live, even like for the "Play 500 Battles" kind of one it could be as simple as 100k extra creds upon game release (which if you think about it really isn't much at all, that's less than the cost of a single tier 7 card).
Just and idea, I wasn't going to suggest it, but since you brought up the topic thought I'd mention it.
